Do you, or anyone living in your household, need market housing in the Parish?
*
Yes
No
If you answered Yes to the question above, your need for Market Housing may fall into one of the following categories. Please choose the one that best fits your need.
*
Low cost market housing: Purpose built properties which are sold at a price lower than the open market value to households in housing need who could not otherwise afford to purchase.
Market housing for singles or couples
Market housing for older residents – singles or couples
Market housing for families
Supported accommodation (which may or may not be market housing) for older residents or persons with a disability
If your need for market housing cannot be met because of your personal circumstances, or because of the lack of housing affordability in our parish, which one of the following Government housing definitions best fit your current need?
*
Affordable housing: Social rented, affordable rented and intermediate housing, provided to eligible households whose needs are not met by the market.
Social rented housing: Social rented housing is owned by local authorities and private registered providers (as defined in section 80 of the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008), for which guideline target rents are determined through the national rent regime. It may also be owned by other persons and provided under equivalent rental arrangements, as agreed with the local authority or with the Homes and Communities Agency.
Affordable rented housing: Affordable rented housing is let by local authorities or private registered providers of social housing to households who are eligible for social rented housing.
Intermediate housing: Intermediate housing is homes for sale and rent provided at a cost above social rent, but below market levels subject to the criteria in the Affordable Housing definition above. These can include shared equity (shared ownership and equity loans), other low-cost homes for sale and intermediate rent, but not affordable rented housing.
We apologise for the complexity of these explanations! These accepted definitions are taken from the UK Government's National Planning Policy Framework
Now please say what type of home best suits your need.
